Coming to a new church for the first time is a big step whether or not it is someone's first time at church or not. The Greeter Ministry exists to welcome people, provide information, and encourage connecting.
Greeters at the entrance welcome you as you enter and provide an announcement sheet as you come into the lobby. Since there are numerous entrances to the lobby, a greeter might miss getting you an announcement sheet. Just look for one, they are wearing a Greeter lanyard around their neck.
Greeters are also a the Info Cafe at the center of the front lobby. They are eager to help you find a classroom, show you around, give visitors a welcome gift, and give information available at the table.
Our hope is that you find everyone to be friendly and helpful. The Greeters are there for you to make sure you have the chance to connect at The Door.
