We are so excited to be a part of your child’s walk with Jesus. We want to engage your children and help them have fun learning about Jesus.  We want to foster a playful environment but also provide guidance and discipline should it be needed.

Here at the Door we place an emphasis on our children. Jesus implored us to teach children in His ways: “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these,” (Matthew 19:14). Dr. Wess Stafford of Compassion International encourages churches to place children’s ministries at the forefront of their responsibilities. The Door embraces this philosophy. 

We strive to be part of your child’s walk with Jesus. We want to build on what you are teaching them at home as well as what is being taught to all of us in our Sunday services and connection groups.

We encourage you as parents to become involved in the ministry.  We always need volunteers to staff the nurseries but we also ask that at home you build on what we are teaching your children. Many of the Children’s Ministry volunteers are also parents. Being a volunteer is an ideal way to be a part of serving your children, as well as other children and parents.
