We believe connecting with others and connecting with Jesus goes hand in hand!  Some groups focus on a common interest or activity while other groups are various Bible or topical studies. Contact the office for more information about any of the Connection Groups listed below.

Connection groups help us...

  • Encourage each other (Hebrews 3:12-13)
  • Give and receive prayer support (James 5:16)
  • Study the Bible together (2 Timothy 3:16)
  • Share with each other and grow friendships (Galatians 6:2)
  • Use the spiritual gifts God has given each of us (1 Corinthians 12:4-7)
  • Fulfill the call Jesus gave each of us to grow and help others grow (Matthew 28:19-20)
Fall 2010:

Alpha: Join us to investigate the meaning of life! Alpha is a course about the Christian faith, open to anyone who is interested. We eat together, listen to a teaching and discuss our thoughts on that teaching. All questions are allowed! You are welcome to join us the first time even if you are not sure about taking the whole course. We will meet at The Door office Monday evenings, September 20 - December 13 (no meeting November 15). Childcare is available. (Anton Oberg)

Living Waters: We all have something in common -- we have a past. What separates us is how each of us deals with our past so that we can move forward in living the good story God has created us to live. Through practical and Biblical teaching, worship, and men's and women's small group prayer. Living Waters provides a safe confidential place to deal with our relational and sexual brokenness. Through this in-depth connection group, discover how the Father offers us greater wholeness and freedom through Christ, the cross, and community.
Living Waters will take place at The Door office Thursday from 7:00-9:30 PM. Childcare is not provided. Contact Jeff Comeaux at The Door office (717.394.7977) with questions or get a participant form that must be completed prior to September 26. Living Waters begins October 7 and ends April 28 (with numerous breaks along the way).
